File does not have a program associated with it

Hello, 

While downloading Belarc Advisor I get a dialog box who said:This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action.Please install a program,or if one is already installed,create an association in the Default Programs control panel

What was the file extension (the three characters at the end of the file name)?

I mean the extension was  ".exe"
But I don`t understand what to do next...
