Hello Kanav7,
While the blue light doesn't show can you hear your drive spin up? Have you tried connecting it with different cable? I'm asking you this because the USB cable that's powering the drive might have got damaged and might not provide enough power to the drive.
If can, I would suggest you to contact the vendor of your external drive and try to get different cable.
