Lost my files

Hello,
My Western Digital is not getting detected which was working times before. Suddenly this was not detected and following is happening after connecting in my laptop (Win 7)
a) Light appearing on the drive.
b) Hearing sound from the drive.
But not detected. Please help me on this.

Can you test the drive on another computer? That can help determine if the drive or the computer is the problem.

Chances are the drive has failed and needs to be replaced.

I tested to 3 another computer but same result. I gave it to one technician and he is trying to back my files! I hope so.
