Anyone having problems with ms security essentials?

Since last Windows update, MS Security Essentials will not complete a full scan. Locks up after about 30 minutes. Quick Scan runs without problem. Microsoft Safety Scanner, Security Essentials Quick Scan and Malwarebytes Anti-malware all run successfully and find no problems, but cannot get Full Scan to complete a scan

Microsoft Security Essentials won't work in Windows 10 but Windows Defender is built into Windows 10.
