Yes you can. But, you will need extra hardware and software. You will need an external USB hard drive enclosure and a bootable drive copy software. On either CD or flash drive. I once bought them as a set. I think the company was called Apricorn. You might need to call Microsoft after the change in disks. It will probably fail their authentication routines when you first use the SSD.
