Hello star,
You can check whether there's a conflict within the USB controler on the motherboard of your PC. Since you're not telling what type of OS have you got, I assume that is windows so please, try the following:
1. Go to Control Panel
2. Then search for the Device manager
3. Navigate till USB Root hub or USB Generic hub controller and see if there's a conflict marked with an exclamation mark
4. Uninstall the driver
5. Reboot your PC without the USB drive plugged in
Windows should automatically detect and install the USB driver when you plug the flash in.
Hope that I helped you.
