How did you format your pendrive? I mean, what type of format does it have - FAT32 or NTFS? Also, I would like to know how many gigabytes it is.
If you don't have any valuable data on the drive I suggest you to make deletion or write zeros of this volume firstly with the OS tools. If it's not giving you that option and you work with Windows, go to Disk management and try to erase the partition assigned under the specific drive letter of your pen drive. I hope this will help you.
