Hello Unknowingly,
If you have a Windows repair CD I suggest you to boot from it. Have you tried booting into Safe mode your laptop? Does it give you any error when you try to start it that way? If you don't have the Win CD my recommendation is to enter Safe mode while starting and open the Command prompt.
There you must enter the chkdsk /r command and wait fro the errors on your disk to be repaired. Once you have done that enter the command sfc /scannow to repair any system errors if there are any. Hope this helps.
