Acer laptop it will not go pass the Acer screen Closed

I have an Acer laptop, and it will not go pass the Acer screen. It tells me to push F7 for setup repair, but that did not work. Can someone please help me?

Try to resetting your Bios back to default.

What OS is it? If it is 7, then get another copy, and use your already valid serial number. If it is 8, then just reload the OS as the serial is already in the machine. If it is 10, go back to 8. If it is XP no amount of bios reset will fix it, you will not be able to recover from that!
