Dell inspiron 15 3537 Screen not working

I have a dell inspiron 15 3537 laptop which I have bought last year in January. Today when I tried to start my laptop the colour of the screen showed nothing. It just seemed that something flashy has showed up for a fraction of secomd. All the 3 led lights are on and the 2nd one from left showed some flickering. Till yesterday my laptop was perfectly fine but today this problem has happened.
Please help me with this problem and estimated cost to rectify that particular problem.
Also advice me if it would be better for me to go to the authorised customer support centre or this problem could be solved by a local technician.

Try this

1. Remove the battery and cable.

2. Press and hold the power button for 58 seconds.

3. Replug and start.
