Hi Uba,
The hard drive is external, right? I would recommend you to check the drive with another USB cable and on another PC. If the issue persists, open the Command Prompt and use the command
Chkdsk D: /f
Replace D with the drive letter of the LG drive. Do you have valuable data on the drive?
