Can't open folders directly

Hello,
when i click my local drives or folders there is a search window is appeared.i can't open them directly.but i can open them by using the option 'explore'.is this is due to missing of any system files?if yes i want to know about it.

Ok, im getting the same problem when clicking on my HDD. The open with option is displayed ..you can make use of internet explorer to view the files ...I'm looking foward to solve this problem, but for how hope you can still mage with this small tip
