Hello,
I recently installed a windows Darklight 2008 version of windows on my new hp laptop which as per microsoft site, it is not a genuine version of windows. Here my problem is that I couldnot find System Resotre functionality on my system's start menu. I checked the basic path "c:\windwos\system32\restore\rstrui.exe" given by the msg when command for System restore given on command prompt, this exe rstrui.exe is not present there.
What should i do, is it anything related to this version of Windows, as even helpctr.exe also could not be found though otherwise present on start menu.
Pls help!!
Any & all help are appreciated in advacne..........
Thanks!!

best option would be not to use the version of windows you got and get a proper one, sounds like the author used Vlite or something to take out functionality to save space
