Laptop overheating

Hello,
My laptop is not starting....when ever I power on the laapi it becomes overheated and doesn't start even...

OK, when you use it, do you use it on a hard surface so that air can get underneath of it?

On bed...soft surface

That is the cause. You need to have a hard surface so that air can get underneith of it, and circulate through it!

I tried to use it on hard surface but now also it's not starting..

What about if you go to an air conditioned room?

I tried ...but still no progress.....the fan start for 2-4 seconds then stops.....
