Light blinks 3 times then nothing happens

My windows laptop (has windows 7) has the same problem. There is a light by the outlet where I plug it in to charge it. Whenever I hit the power button that light blinks 3 times then nothing happens. Is there a way to help it?

It may depend on your make and model, we are not aware of what model it is. It sounds like Motherboard problems, but not certain. Not much you can do, without starting to take things apart. Start at least with making certain no USB cables are in the machine while booting!
