I tried the ccm dvd codec, for xp, vista me. once downloaded said it was for xp??? so anyway I tried playing a dvd, and it said my screen resolution "May" need to be turned down, so I lowered it all the way, and set it to 16 bit color. Still... it said the same thing.

Hi Joe,

What you mean by CCM dvd codec? What is the url?

What are you trying to do?

What is your operating system?

What software do you use to view dvd's?
The url is ccm.net/download/download-972-dvd-decoder-pack. I just installed windows vista basic on a dimension 4600. not sure it has all framework yet but is activated. After learning that basic dose not come with dvd codecs, I noticed this site. before the download media player said it had missing codecs. After it said the display settings; resolution may be set too high. I am glad if there are free codecs. I feel if these versions are obsolete, why still charge to view a dvd per machine. Fixing them is a hobby, interested to see what software is lacking.
