Lights come on for quick second and then automatically turnoff.

My ASUS Laptop x553m . im not using it for almost a week.then, when i decided to use it,it does not power up. When I turn the power button,the lights come on for quick second and then automatically turnoff. i tried it again and again but still, my laptop did not open. what will i do? pls help me.
