Folder does not open on double click.

Hello,
Please help me, If I do double click on folder it doesn't open but on drive it gets opened, It shows "This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Please install a program or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel. " but when right click on the same folder and select open then it gets opened
