Hello,
I have spent 2 days trying to get my gateway ne56r series laptop to work with my TCL television. The tv has 3 hdmi ports. I tried the connection in all 3 and i keep getting "no signal". I tried doing it manually but the tv cannot be found on the laptop. I also tried updating the driver which hasnt worked either as it said i had the latest version. I have the MS basic version video card driver. What can i do to get both tv and laptop to work together? Thanks for your assistance.
Regards,
Beth

The external video port is inactive on most laptops until turned on. Gateway may use Fn + F3 to activate the video port.
Good luck
