How to start WinXP on only one core

Hello,

I have Pentium Core 2 duo and
I must starting windows xp on the only one core.
Because I will need free second core .
How i can do it ?
Please help me.

There is no need to do that, multi cores can be set on the task manager if you need a core for running something else, using the SET AFFINITY option.

Unfortunetly , because I can't change AFFINITY system proces .
This is my problem ... , I know what change AFFINITY for other proces ... but i can't change system proces ;(
And two core working :(
