Thanks very much that gives me the @ that I needed.
Is it possible to return it to the shift+2 marked key which shift+2 today brings up "
Also the 3 keys on the top right hand side marked for volume control have no effect on the volume.
Any help would be appreciated

Do a search in spotlight for keyboard and change your layout to US

are you pressing the Fn key when trying to change the audio?
