Laptop shuts down when phone connected

Hello,



my labtop shut down when I placed my phone in it to copy items but I fell asleep and when I on it.it came back but told me that the system from its previous location failed.and it gave me an option, but when I highlight the option to boot the system back the enter key stop functioning
