Lost my data from pendrive

Hi i am having a pendrive which is having a password protection know as bitlocker..
I have once connected my pendrive to the otg cable and since after not my pendrive shows empty even when i connect it to any device it does not ask me for the password also....
i have not tried any thing on that till now as i m afraid that i may loose my data forever and i want my data really back it has a data of almost 8gb which i need back badly....
please guide please help want to recover it any how....

Hi varsac,

I would recommend you to try using some data recovery tools. You may find some useful suggestions in the Downloads section of this web site. Follow the link below:

Is it possible to use the pen drive right now? Have you tried copying new files on it? If you are sure that the files have not been deleted, you should check the device on a PC with another OS, like Linux, for example. I would use Linux Live CD.

HI DEAR THANKS FOR YOUR REPLY THE DAY I SAW THAT MY DATA IS LOST AFTER THAT I HAVE NOT COPIED ANYTHING IN THAT PENDRIVE PLEASE RECOMMEND SOME SOFTWARE THROUGH WHICH I CAN RECOVER IT BCOZ I M SERIOUSLY AFRAID OF LOOSING IT

I am sorry, but as a Western Digital representative I can not recommend you any software, but I am sure that someone from the community may suggest something. Additionally, if you check the Downloads link I posted you above, you may find some similar software tools. Sadly, I have not checked them by myself and can not share feedback.
