Hello,

I'm unable to rename any files or folder by using F2 key in my Dell laptop.

Dell Inspiron 1564 - Core I3 Processor

In my Laptop, if we press directly F2 key is working for WIFI on/off. Please suggest me on this - I really do appreciate it.

Thanks!

Thank you very much!
This was so helpful!
My F2 key was changing the sound, and it was so annoying.

Hi

In Windows, function keys are not used to rename files and folders.
F2 used to rename the item (Shortcut) in Windows

In Explorer if you hi-light the file name and press F2. You get a window opened to rename the file. I didn't know it existed until I experimented myself.
