F2 Key (Shortcut for renaming the files / Folder) is not working [Solved/Closed]

Hello,

I'm unable to rename any files or folder by using F2 key in my Dell laptop.

Dell Inspiron 1564 - Core I3 Processor

In my Laptop, if we press directly F2 key is working for WIFI on/off. Please suggest me on this - I really do appreciate it.

In Windows, function keys are not used to rename files and folders.
F2 used to rename the item (Shortcut) in Windows

In Explorer if you hi-light the file name and press F2. You get a window opened to rename the file. I didn't know it existed until I experimented myself.
