OK, hang in there. Unplug the power, and any other devices from it. Unplug the power adapter, so it makes two separate cords. Let it sit. Flip the laptop over and take the battery out. Now push and hold the power button down for 45 seconds, after you flip it back over and open it.
Ok, now turn it back over, and put the battery back in. Make all connections and try it again. If when you attempt to boot, watch out if the NUMBER LOCK or some other key flashes. Let us know if you witness any other lights flashing.
