                    Hello awanawan,
Have you made any hardware changes to your computer recently and how do you connect the optical device? I'm asking you this because the SATA/IDE cable or the power supply cable that you use to connect to the motherboard may get damaged or the SATA/IDE slot may have some issues.
I suggest, if you have more than one slot on the motherboard, that you change the cables and place where you connect your optical drive. Also, if you still keep the installation CD of the ROM you can install the driver for it.
