Dell laptop shortcut key "ctrl x" not working

Hello,
good day!
i just want to ask , why is my shortcut key "ctrl x" not working?if i do, the result will only click X.
second, when i used delete button, it will directly delete the part and not asking first if i am sure or not?

Is the a Microsoft Word problem?

I can't use my Microsoft word also..I can't type anything, and when I type any letter, the find and replace will open.
