WD 1TB external hard drive which is not working

about 3 years ago I bought a WD 1TB external hard drive which hasn't worked properly since a month ago. My PC doesn't recognize it at all but on my lap top it is recognized, I enter the password too but the drive's content can't be loaded and it stops working. I have windows 10 on my laptop.

Hi Deep8,

I think you have to check the Jack where you actually plug your USB cable on your PC, since this happened to me because your external drive working fine with your laptop. So most probably this will resolve your issue.
