Problem in accessing internet by using Google chrome

In my desktop I am having xp as os and I was browsing internet by using Google chrome. But since yesterday google chrome is not responding. while I am able to access the sight by using IE but IE is also not opening gmail and google, Whenever I try to access these site message comes that your internet is not working. pl help me to restore my system.

Reset Chrome to default settings.

With time, you will get an increasing number of issues with Windows XP

Thanx for your reply. But in my desktop I am not able to open Google chrome. Earlier it was working. But now it is not opening. By clicking on Chrome icon, I received no response. Pl tell me the reason and how I can open it. Pl

Remove Chrome and install the new version
