I live in Taiwan now and the same thing has been happening to me for the past 2 or 3 months. I try to access MySpace and I get redirected to Google. I don't know what the problem is, but I've given up on MySpace and use only Facebook now. I wonder if MySpace even acknowledges this problem?
Freaking A!!!!
I live in Taiwan and it's been like that for a few months now. Before it was kind of off/on. Now it just automatically directs me to google.com.

I had to replace my router/modem. So, that is my suggestion. It works perfectly now. I was without myspace for over two weeks. But once I did that, things are fine.
I've seen so many problems why MySpace redirecting to google search Engine but there are no infinite solutions but there is one thing i can share to you that solve my problem it's in this site http://fancyfishhaven.com/index.php/forum?func=view&catid=33&id=12 OR http://fancyfishhaven.com/index.php/the-news/1214-why-is-myspace-redirecting-me-to-google-search-engine
I don't know what is goin on? Each time I'm trying to go to facebook when i put the address in it automatically takes me to myspace. Can you help me figure this out because I have no idea. I really need to get onto facebook.
It just happened to me tonight. I'm here in the Philippines and it also redirects me back to Google. I think this is just a Myspace Bug, seeing that this has happened since 2009 and it's already 2010.
Hi everone, I've had the same problem with any facebook related link (www.facebook.com, and every facebook applet on any website, eg. facebook "likes" or "post this on facebook") leading to myspace. After running an "immunisation" with spybot - search & destroy and using the programm spyware blaster, the problem disappeared. Both programmes use the browser's internal funtions to block out malicious websites etc. I suppose through an error of some kind, those entries were damaged, thus the redirection.
Good luck!
