Headphone not giving sound

Hello, m using windows 10 n there is no headphone option in playback devices neither there is sound when headphone plugged in but the external speakers are working properly

OK is this a standard headphone (phono jack) or USB?

Hello,

Since we moved to Malaysia, I've been having though time with my PS3, I have picture, but no sound. All cables are in tact. What should I do..? Please someone HELP!!!!!

... PROBLEM SOLVED!!! ... I right clicked on You Tube's blank square (black or white) and clicked on "Report playback issue" ... I did and that took me to the following page:

Hello,

okay, it just happened today, the sound from my pc works fine; I can hear my music, videos, etc.

but when it comes to browsing on the internet, there is no sound! I go to youtube to watch a few vids and no sound! ive reinstalled my browser numerous times, and even downloaded a sound software. nothing!

any ideas?System Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 3.0.1
