Laptop shuts down and restarts as soon as i connect the charger

Hello,


I am using windows10. From last week my laptop shuts down and restarts automatically and keep on doing so as soon as I connect the charger. I am not able to do any work for this reason on my laptop. Windows is genuine and was working fine from February when I upgraded to windows10 using Microsoft upgrade.
I have windows defender for security. Please help.
