Dell Inspiron N7110 screen went black

My Dell shut off last night while I was on the Internet. I was on Zillow and my screen went black. When it turned off, the fan came on and will not cut off. I've taken the battery out, unplugged it, and let the battery completely run out. Still will not turn back on. This laptop is only four years old. Help!

have you tried to plug the charger in your laptop? Maybe the battery died? (literally)

Yes I have tried that. It does the same with or without the battery in. As long as the computer is getting power the fan runs but nothing else happens.

sounds like the motherboard failed.
