Hello,
I bought a new laptop downtown but there's a password on it and I don't know it I went back to the store and they said reset it or take a memory chip out I need help fast

What store downtown? Is it a reputable store such as Best Buy or just your run of the mill miscellaneous electronic shop? What is the make and model?
