Why my pc doesn't boot from a bootable usb?

i have a 'hp pro 3400 series mt'.When i press the power button i have a black screen with white dashboard.i wanted to format it but my computer didn't boot from usb and in the boot device i don't have that option although in the BIOS>boot order i place usb in the first place in both uefi boot sources and legacy boot sources.
Any ideas ? i hope you can help me and thanks

Hi Dalyxou,

Could you tell me what are the other booting options in BIOS? Some versions have more than one which usually causes problems. Confirm that all USB related options are on the first places in the boot order. Additionally it would be nice if you test the USB drive on another PC, just to confirm that the installation starts as expected. There is a chance that there are problems with the installation files and the booting drive needs to be remade.
