Windows 10 lost activation key

Hello,

I installed a window 10 from the system and pay trough visa. but I did not know that there is an activation key until the system asked me. And I don't know where is it I lost it.

Did you upgrade from previous version of windows or you buy it?

i had window 7 and I have been told that window 10 is much better so I bough it trough my computer.

If I remember well I upgrade from window 7 to window 10 and I was charged on Visa Card $175 around that much if you need the receipt I can find it for you.

If you purchased it on Internet from Microsoft, an activation key would have been on the web page confirming your purchase and it no doubt asked to print that page.

What was your previous operating system?

I had window 7 was working well

Upgrading from Win 7 and 8 to Win 10 was and is totally free until July 1st 2016.

If you really purchased it from Microsoft, it was not necessary, you just trowed $175 out the window.

Usually, Microsoft sends the activation key on the receipt.
