Can no longer sign in to facebook

hello...i recently did 2 things that may lead to resolution of the problem that i am not able to sign in to facebook...i have not been able to troubleshoot nor resolve from either angle...

1. i recently changed my email password which has been under an old email address (account not used in many years) recently as it seemed that there had been an attempt to hack my account...i foolishly entered my new email address with the new password and cannot open my facebook because this is the message i receive...and then the download doesn't work...
