I suggest you power down the router and don't plug it back in for 2 full minutes. This should reset it and might fix things. You could also use the reset switch on the back of the router. This will rest the router to it's factory and then you will need to reset the ID and password. It's possible the transmitter has failed if the router is more than 3/4 years old.
