Laptop turns on but screen is totally black like shutted down

Dear sir,
I have compaq 621. Recently i have installed extra RAM ddr3 2gb and it was working properly.
The property shows the 4gb ram. Then few days ago i was checking application file...nd i installed nero app...afte few minutes it shows reboot and cancel option. I click reboot. Then laptop shutdown properly nd automatic start but then laptop was started but screen shown nothing...it was fully black...
I removed the bettry nd added again nd restart.....the laptop was on but screen was black....
What to do sir....
Plzz help...

Hi
Did you try going into access the screen resolution of your laptop like landscape mode, portrait mode..screen 1 or screen 2 partition? Maybe need to go into safe mode by unplugging you computer taking battery out

I didn't do anything like screen resolution... Or landscape etc
