Can't open the facebook website

hey guys help me please..
i am unable to open the facebook site even the fb login or sign up page..when i enter www.facebook.com it takes some time and then the message appears '' THIS SITE CAN'T BE REACHED , TRY RELOADING OR CHECK YOUR CONNECTION''. All the other sites are working perfectly fine , please help me :'( i have tried three browsers and i am unable to access..even i don't have a cellphone so there isn't any issue like that of synchronization.
this is the first time..i have restarted my laptop but still....... :'(
