In that case the best bet is to return it to "factory default". Most late model laptops come with either a CD or a hidden partition on the hard drive that will reload the factory image to the hard drive. I would post a new query that asks for help in restoring the laptop to "factory default" and give the make and model of the PC. Each manufacturer has a unique procedure that is normally posted on their Web site. Good Luck
