No passwords being saved

Hello,
Google Chrome asks to save my passwords but doesn't. There are no passwords in the list and I have to manually enter user name and password for every site I visit. What's wrong

Check to make sure that the NEVER SAVE PASSWORDS at the bottom of the settings fro chrome isn't checked. Also, the sites you are visiting may not allow for passwords to be saved!
