Desktop icons on windows 10 not showing!

Hey everyone! I have a problem with my desktop. I'm using windows 10. It goes like this.
I close my laptop's lid to put it to sleep. When I turn it back on, the desktop icons are gone, and my taskbar also kept disappearing. But the taskbar isn't the problem 'cause I fixed it there. The icons aren't showing on the desktop, although they exist in the desktop file in the file explorer. How do I fix this and what caused these changes in my computer? Please just tell me how to fix this!
