Continous beep sound

my hp laptop contains windows 7 as operating system and since last few days during start up it is making continous beep sound,the booting is slow, after start up i am unable to select any icon in the desktop or menu bar or task bar properly, they are getting selected by their own and are continously blinking.what is the issue?how to solve it?please somebody help.

It's possible that one keys on the keyboard is stuck in the down position.
