Hi Ace,
Are you using two types of Operational Systems, for example Mac and Windows? Sometimes file format issues may cause similar problems. If the files occupy capacity, but are not shown in the explorer, please confirm that they are not hidden. Check that in Start, Control Panel, Appearance and Personalization, Folder Options, View tab, Advanced Settings.
If all settings seem correct, open the Command Prompt and type the following command:
attrib -h -r -s /s /d g:\*.*
Change the g letter with the letter of your drive.
