Need to reset password for Yahoo mail.

Hello,
This morning I tried to read my mail in Yahoo, but requested my password. Normally I can bypass this because I saved my password and I can sign in automatically. I only use a handful of passwords, but all were denied. I am not sure which one is correct, so I wanted to create a new one. I am not able to do this and my phone number is old and can't get a text. I discovered a virus, which I had removed and I think this is why Yahoo requested my password. I just want to create a new password and retrieve my mail. Can someone help me? Support staff can't
