Hello,
I am having problems with the display on the dell n5110. The display shows everything until the window 8 logo. After that, the screen goes blank. I discovered that by connecting the laptop to an external display, everything shows up on that external display.I tried duplicating the displays to show things on the laptop itself but it does not work. Everything works fine in safe mode. Any ideas? Thanks

It's possible that the video drive got updated and is not compatible with your hardware. I suggest you revert the drive to the prior version. You will then need to keep Windows from automatically updating it again.
Good luck
