USB devices including the monitor and the lan doesn't work

When I switch on my cpu, the fan in psu starts. Also the fan over processor starts working. The dvd is working.. But all my USB devices including the monitor and the lan doesn't work... What could be the possible problem... Can anyone help me regarding this?
