Hello,

I have an acer aspire and it won't recognize the physical keyboard. I read online that removing the battery and then puting it back on would fix the problem. But it looks like have to take the whole back off the computer to do that. Any idea? Is there another way?

What exact model is this? If you have to unscrew anything to get to a laptop battery, this technique will not work, as that battery is the CMOS and Main battery, and if you were to remove that one, you will have to reconfigure the BIOS! Take it to a technician!

As it happens, the computer went back to normal after several reboots. I'm glad of that because taking it to a technician is a difficult thing. I'm an American expat living in France and Frnch technicians just always tell you things can't be fixed, and that you're stupid to break them and you need to buy a new one, in my experience.

Thanks.
