Acer aspire won't boot, tried fixes

Hello,

Son's Acer aspire will not boot. I tried power draining by unplugging ram and backup battery, still only get Acer logo for 5 secs then it tries to restart only to show the Acer logo again. Is it bios version or Windows. I can go to advance settings through alt f10 and access file folders on hard drive. So, what now?

I assume you have a laptop. You might try removing one oi the memory cards since that's the only hardware you have access to. You problem appears to be a hardware failure since the laptop is not getting beyond the BIOS startup.
